Nel 1970 erano stati reiterati i tentativi (iniziati nel 1961) di creare in Romania una Sezione dell'AIDA, ma nonostante le intenzioni del Dr. Popovici, Direttore generale della "Administratia Asigurarilor de Stat" non si era raggiunto lo scopo.
La Sezione è stata quindi fondata nel 1990 dal Dr. Leon Jancovici, Capo del dipartimento legale delle assicurazioni di Stato, con atto amministrativo num. II/20136/1990 del Ministero della Giustizia.

In 1970 the attempts (started in 1961) to establish in Rumania a Chapter of AIDA were resumed but, notwithstanding the earnest efforts of Dr. Popovici, General Manager of "Administratia Asigurarilor de Stat" that purpose could not be reached. The Chapter was finally established in 1990 by Dr. Leon Jancovici, Chief of the legal department of the State insurance, by administrative deed No. II/20136/1990 of the Ministry of Justice
